Hi. I'm Ilia, I've spent the past few years traveling the world with my wife & 2 kids and am currently in Lisbon, Portugal. I am a client-side VFX supervisor, having made my debut in Film & TV working closely with Cary Fukunaga & Kogonada. Between the larger stuff I like to keep my comp tools sharp working as a freelance Flame artist.
I'm a proud alumnus of The Mill (with a combined decade across London & NYC) and I've worked with all the biggest names & brands in the world of commercials. I have a monstrously keen eye for detail, a healthy distaste for bad VFX, and a creative, often unorthodox approach to finding cost-efficient solutions - whilst never compromising on quality.
For commercials/ music videos: I am available for Flame bookings and can also take on entire projects - feel free to inquire regarding my setup for larger scale projects requiring more manpower/ robust pipeline.
For Features/ TV: I'm always on the lookout for something interesting to sink my teeth into. I really go the extra mile when it comes to squeezing every last drop out of a script's potential, and love to be intimately involved at every part of the creative process.
